Estimating Administrator

The Estimating Administrator is responsible for all Administrative functions within the Estimating Department. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Estimating, this position will suit someone with a keen interest in Building Construction, who enjoys using their interpersonal and organisational skills to ensure that Individual and Team goals are achieved.
•    Scheduling & Capacity Planning of all activities within the Estimating Department
•    Producing Departmental Reports
•    Obtain all necessary subcontractor pricing and organize the information necessary to aid in creating and submitting proposals to clients
•    Highlight any areas of concern during each project
•    Assist in the documentation of correspondence to clients, as required
•    Consult with clients, vendors or personnel in other departments where necessary
•    Ensure that an exceptional level of customer service is delivered at all times
•    Work with the Existing Estimating Team in Ireland & USA to ensure that individual and team targets and deadlines are consistently achieved
•    Identify areas where improvements & efficiencies can be made
•    Ability to Communicate clearly and effectively and establish good working relationships with others
•    Must enjoy working in a fast-paced office environment, where new thinking and problem-solving skills are encouraged in order to meet challenging goals
•    Highly self-motivated
•    Excellent ability to understand and interpret construction plans and associated documentation
•    Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
•    Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
•    Excellent accuracy levels and detail oriented
•    Excellent organisational skills.
