Job Description – Medical Administrator
Duties and Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Reception duties – phones, meet and greet patients / visitors of practice
Scheduling appointments for clinic visits , tests and procedures
Scheduling appointments for procedures, preparing booking forms, sending appointments to patients
Deal with patient queries face to face and all telephone queries
Responsibility for taking payments coming into the practice
Knowledge of GDPR and laws governing patient confidentiality
Supporting the Consultant with all admin and adhoc duties
Audio Typing documents
Office filing, updating Patient database and Retrieving patient charts
Keeping track of clinic/office supplies and ordering supplies as needed
Experience Required:
Customer service skills
Highly competent in computer skills
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Excellent communication skills
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a busy office environment
