Naval Service Direct Entry Chef

The Naval Service is the maritime component of the Defence Forces with a support base and headquarters located in the Naval Base, Haulbowline, Co.Cork. We are now looking to recruit suitably qualified Chefs to be part of our team that patrols and protects our territorial waters.
Applicants must be 18 years of age and under 27 years of age on the date of application.

A candidate for enlistment as an Able Chef must have completed one of the following:
FETAC Level 6 in Culinary Arts.
Quality Qualifications Ireland Level 6 in Culinary Arts.
NTCB Level 6 in Culinary Arts.
National equivalent of any of the above.
Approximately €25,000, increasing to approximately €29,000 on completion of training.
